I have been working as a physical therapist since 2017, first at Asterweg Medical Center North, where I started the physical therapy practice. In September 2022, we continued with Fysio MCN on Asterweg and I joined Fysio MCN. I completed my physical therapy training at the Hogeschool Utrecht and graduated in 2017. I then completed training in Dry Needling, and did several courses for specializations in headaches, dizziness, shoulder pain and prosthetics.

My specialization is primarily in headache and vertigo complaints, but I also see many sports-related injuries, shoulder problems and orthopedic rehabilitations. Headaches have always interested me because I have had migraines myself for many years. It feels good to be able to help people with headache symptoms, because I know myself how limiting it can be. In addition, my interest in sports-related complaints and shoulder problems come from my experience in water polo, where I played at a high level for many years.

Working as a physical therapist is special to me because I can help people function pain-free. It gives great satisfaction to see how people improve after my treatments. An example of the difference I make is with every patient who is pain-free after my treatments.

I chose to work at FysioMCN because of the nice working environment, the diverse locations and specializations, and the collaboration with fine colleagues. I enjoy working with my colleagues and also enjoy working independently at locations, which keeps a lot of variety.

In my free time, I am still active in sports (water polo) and spend a lot of time in the pool. In addition, I really enjoy strength training!
