Fysio-,oedeem- en longtherapeut

Nihan Bulut

About Nihan

I have been working as a physical therapist for 13 years, and my journey began at the Hanze University Groningen International Physiotherapy Program, where I completed my training in 2011. Since then, I have educated myself with various courses and trainings, including pulmonary rehabilitation, exercise programs for Asthma and COPD, dry needling, medical taping, Covid rehabilitation, and more.

My specialization is primarily in the areas of pulmonary physical therapy, edema therapy and intermittent claudication. Why I chose this particular area? During my internships, I was touched by the complexity of chronic diseases and the resilience of the patients living with them.

Most of my time I help lung and edema patients, but I also occasionally see neck and headache patients. Working as a physical therapist is special to me because I get to help people and learn something new from my patients every day.

A special moment for me is when a patient notices that he or she can perform minor daily activities again without tightness or pain. At PhysioMCN, I feel at home because we are a motivated team that is not afraid to think outside the box. We use innovative treatments and are always looking for the best care for our patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy my life in Amersfoort with my husband and twins  (daughter and son). I like to spend my free time rowing, dancing, eating good food in good restaurants and visiting art exhibitions and concerts.
