About Méron

For the past five years, I have had the privilege of working as a physical therapist. I pursued my education as a physical therapist at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, where I completed my studies in 2019. In addition to my basic training, I also took a dryneedling course to expand my treatment options.

My passion within physical therapy lies primarily in sports and running-related complaints. This stems from my own background as a semi-high-level athlete, focusing on sprints such as the 60, 100 and 200 meters. My personal experience in the sports world has shaped my affinity for sports injuries and makes treating them especially fascinating to me.

As a general physical therapist, I see a wide range of patients with complaints ranging from the neck, upper back, low back, elbow, knees, hips and ankles. It gives me a tremendously satisfying feeling when I see people leave the practice complaint-free after my treatments.

My choice to work at PhysioMCN stems from a long-standing relationship with the practice. I started working at FysioMCN as a patient at the age of 12 and later did my internships there while studying physical therapy. What makes FysioMCN so special is the large, diverse and enthusiastic team with many specializations. The opportunity to work in such a dynamic environment really appeals to me.

Outside of work, I enjoy my free time by exercising, going to the movies and eating good food, both at home and in restaurants. I was born and raised in Amsterdam-North and have lived in the Zaan region for four years now.
