Osteopathy

A different view and approach to persistent complaints

Osteopathy is a holistic approach to health in which an osteopath uses the hands to treat various health problems, for example, problems with muscles, organs, joints and connective tissue. Treatments focus on restoring mobility and balance to the body. Osteopathy looks at the body as a whole, with treatment not limited to the location of the symptoms. The treatments promote recovery and overall health and are suitable for all ages, from infants to adults.

What complaints do we treat?

  • Musculoskeletal complaints
For example, back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, joint pain or stiffness, headaches, migraines, muscle aches and strains.
  • Movement problems
For example: limited range of motion in joints, problems with posture and balance or sports injuries
  • Neurological complaints
For example: sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, herniated discs, nerve damage after surgery and other nerve pain
  • Organ-related problems
For example: gastrointestinal problems, pelvic floor problems or chest or respiratory complaints
  • Female health problems
For example: menstrual, pregnancy or post partum problems, cesarean section and incontinence
  • Baby/child related problems
For example: cramps, preferred posture, digestive problems, developmental or concentration problems
  • General health improvement
For example: stress and tension, general fatigue or to support the immune system
