Many forms of dizziness are perfectly treatable!

The feeling of the room spinning around you after lying flat in bed or getting up from a chair, an insecure feeling when walking, or even fear of falling and moving and therefore not daring to go out on the street? It is unfortunately common.

Every year, thousands of people with these complaints consult a general practitioner or specialist. Fortunately, effective treatment is available for many patients. The dizziness specialists at FysioMCN have specialized in the treatment of these complaints through continuous continuing education, both nationally and internationally. Together with you, they will fight against dizziness.

Dizziness

What we treat

At MCN, we use both traditional and modern (evidence-based) examination and treatment techniques to identify the various causes of dizziness and treat where possible. Using advanced technologies, including Virtual Reality, we focus on the cause of dizziness and the limitations it causes in daily life.

Some of the dizziness symptoms and balance disorders we treat include Benign Paroxysmal Position Change Dizziness (BPPD), Persistent Positional Perception Dizziness (PPPD), Mal de Debarquement Syndrome (MdDS), Persistent Concussive Symptoms (PCS), unilateral or bilateral vestibular failure, and neuritis vestibularis.

Our colleagues are trained to perform comprehensive fall analyses. We can do this on our own initiative, but often we do it at the request of the physician. With this analysis, we can improve the mapping out risk that you will take an unfortunate fall. Based on this, we can assess whether participation in our fall prevention program “In Balance” or Otago is appropriate. In Balance and Otago are often reimbursed by health insurance or the municipality.
