At PhysioMCN, we understand that your patients are the most important thing. As a physician, you play a key role in their care journey. You guide them to better health and/or well-being. We can support you in this by helping patients regain the ability to do what they want to be able to do.
The Physical Therapist as Coach
When you refer a patient to PhysioMCN, we make sure he or she is scheduled with one of the experts on the patient’s health problem. Sometimes it is better if the patient is seen by several colleagues. At MCN, our colleagues form a cohesive team with our referring physicians so that we can look at the patient’s total health problem in an interdisciplinary way. With our motto, “your link between want and ability,” we are dedicated to bridging the gap between patients’ desires and their abilities.

Selection criteria for Optimal Care
When assigning patients, we consider:
-Clause and Specialization: The patient’s specific complaint and the expertise of our therapists.
-Patient Preferences: Preferences such as practice location and personal preferences.
Consultation request
When you request a consultation, we offer a comprehensive intake and examination. We assess whether there is an indication for any of our services and report back to you.
Home visit request
If a patient requires treatment at home, please indicate this on the referral letter (this is a requirement of health insurance companies).
Co-Consultation
We also offer the option of co-consultation, where we provide the opportunity for physicians to see patients together. This is scheduled based on need.
Schooling and Internship
We believe in collaboration and knowledge sharing, which is why we offer the following:
-Walk-in opportunities: Colleagues who would like to walk with our therapists for a day (or part) can always schedule this. This is also possible for co-assistants and AIOS.
-Clinical Classes: Interested in specific topics? Upon request, we organize clinical classes.
Unburdening and Expertise
We understand that complex complaints such as, for example: dizziness, concussions and chronic (head) pain involve a great need and demand for care. At PhysioMCN, in addition to these complaints, we specialize in treating many complex complaints.
If desired, we can indicate at the outset through an initial consultation whether we can play a role in the treatment of the patient’s health problem through our range of paramedical care.
We have experience advising fellow caregivers when it comes to which intervention/therapy is effective for which symptoms and affect recovery or not. Even when we cannot solve the problem ourselves, we are happy to help think about which other health care provider or agency can. In this way, we like to help so that the patient receives the right care in the right place.
